Why do empire roll with laughter when someone farts?
Answers: There was if truth be told a study a while ago about why solid things are considered funny. Generally, if something unexpected happen, it evokes feelings of humour surrounded by people. Since farting is usually out of the blue, it falls beneath that category. (Even if someone announces beforehand that they're going to fart, the announcement causes indistinguishable response.)
