I am scheduled for an upcoming colonoscopy. I be told by my physician to not use and amphetamines, gingko biloba, metabolife, herbalife, diet pills etc... Basically no stimulants. Can someone please explain to me why this is and what are the dangers if i do hold something in my system. Thanks.

Answers:    Prudent entry would be to ask him to explain this to you further,but I suspect amphetamines affect circulation and bleeding,at the very most minuscule.Not to mention blood pressure.Not something you should second guess,especially if a physician has outright caution against it!Just ASK HIM-he's a doctor,he is used to questions approaching that.Good luck-
