I am looking for the "proper" agency to swallow a tablet, or pill??
Answers: I don't think here is a "proper" way except as indicated by the medication itself. For example, pocket with food, drink lots of hose down, take since bedtime, etc. I have trouble beside capsules, as they tend to stick surrounded by my throat. Therefore, I drink water and get hold of my throat wet first. Then I swirl the medication in my mouth to brand name sure it is well moistened and later try to swallow it. I can take a handful of small pills adjectives at once, but have trouble near big pills like vitamins and calcium.
The physicians' inserts next to prescriptions usually indicate whether the pill can be divided or crushed. I read those to see how the pill is supposed to be taken. There is also a Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) that describes drugs on the market and give facts about their makeup, interactions, how to steal, etc. Hope this helps.
no proper mode... follow directions of med... as far proper way to swallow anything works for you. Some meds can be crushed but taste similar to crap then even surrounded by apple sauce. I have see some put way within back of throat push and swallow beside large amts of wet... some do one at a time others all at once... Some meds are available within liquid form if you enjoy difficulties swallowing pills.
