I'm have an anterior and posterior prolapse repair beside mesh and wondered how unpromising I'll have a feeling after, how long?
Answers: I have it done in 06..Not too much throbbing after the first 3 days or so..You will get anguish meds... Right after surgery I was on morphine after some other stuff to take at home. I never finished it because I didn't have need of it. Make sure you are taking stool softeners because you don't want to get constipated and strain down in attendance..
Good luck!
Uterine prolapse? A friend of mine had it done and she be about 75 years aged and of course, it be uncomfortable but she seem to do well. She will be 82 contained by March. Hope that you will do well, too.
I of late had a TVT sling put surrounded by to correct stress incontinence. It's not as complex as yours, but there are some similarities. They have me stay 1 night within the hospital with a catheter so I wouldn't strain myself. I be able to draw from the catheter out the next hours of daylight & was competent to urinate. I had IV while contained by the hosp.
I had discomfort sitting up & getting out of bed for 2 days once I got home. Naproxen (2) every 6 hours worked better than the stomach-ache meds they gave me. Oh, the other entity was right more or less the stool softener. Just go to the drug store & go and get a generic one that's the same as Colace...much cheaper.
I bled somewhat bit, but not much.(for about 10 days...not so that it be a nuisance).
I think if you're only sitting, you should be okay on a drive. Just bring the naproxen (Aleve) with you a short time ago in travel case.
Good luck to you & enjoy the celebratory.
