Is the dual diagnosis schizophrenia really considered as a split within character?

I've always hear people refer to schizophrenia as split nature. Is it true? I don't know much about schizophrenia but I'm really interested surrounded by it. Please answer my question. I will really appreciate it if you did.

Answers:    No, schizophrenia does not involve a split surrounded by personality. If you basis the meaning of the permanent status on its etymology, you'll discover that it actually technique 'to split the mind" not 'to split the personality'. Schizophrenia causes the artificial person to hear voice that are not heard by others. This may result to the thinking that somebody else is manipulate their minds. Schizophrenics also develop speech difficulties that causes other race to think that they've turned into another character.
Yes.

A SPLIT personality cannot access different aspects of identity at equal time, so that (for example) a normal 'inner dialogue' seem like separate voice in the go before.

This is often confused (especially surrounded by films) with MULTIPLE sense of self, where somebody believes that their own travels are being carried out by separate 'selves'. It have never been properly established that this is a earnest psychiatric illness.
