Total mistiness suffocates me...pls. give a hand!?

why do i get suffocated everytime there's total cloudiness? i mean, whenever i be in motion to sleep at night & i turned sour the lights or if i don't see any light outside i experience the shortness of breath. what's wrong next to me and what do you think guys should i do?
