Creating a fine start from birth? (Replacing genes to fix genetic disorders)?
Today, doctors can screen the genetic makeup of developing human enbryos to experiment for genetic illnesses. If doctors also have the expertise to correct those genetic diseases by replacing genes, shouldn't parents have the responsibility to furnish their childern the best possible start in energy?
Answers: i think she manner like, if they enjoy a genetic disorder which could cause things such as huntingtons disease or mental retardation. Scientists know how that replacing the genes at childlike ages will correct these, but they dont know how to get the correct piece of the dna into the correct place without screw something else up. i think that parents should enjoy this choice and if there is going to be a problem near their child (as said before) then have gene therapy at a childish age (possibly even before birth) would be a pious thing. This would exterminate problems for the kids later contained by life
