Scarring ask?

I recently have an accident and needed some stitches within my forehead. I realise I will probably have a prominent mark afterwards. I've been told by the Doctor at the Hospital that after three months I should use cream containing vitamin E each day as this will help near reducing and fading the deformity. I was a moment ago wondering it anyone has used any honest creams etc that have successfully help with scarring. I merely had the stitches removed yesterday so it's exceedingly early days however and I won't know exactly how bad it will be for some time but I would be thankful for any advise on the subject. Thanks!!

Answers:    Following my husband's nouns surgery, he was told to use pure cocoa butter, which in fact comes in an uncomplicated to use stick. He swiped the stick across the scar on the front on his collar everyday (especially after showering). It didn't sting, and drastically reduced the redness and swelling cause by the scar. He be also able to commence using it immediately after the bandage were removed because it is peaceable, and he didn't have to be concerned nearly a possible allergic reaction to vitamin E. His defect is now so narrowly visible, that unless you know it's in attendance, you'd never notice.
Hope this help.
