How long after giving blood will I be ok to run/cycle?

I'm giving blood on a Friday and need to cycle around 8 miles the hours of daylight after. Will I die?

Ok, not die, but will it put undue stress on my heart (I can pedal slowly)?

Answers:    The fact that you will own all of friday darkness to recover, you should well be fine. Maybe to be on the extra cautious side, relay the people that you are cycling next to on saturday that you did give blood, lately as a precautionary measure.
Good luck for saturday!! x
Giving blood and the ncycling merely 8 miles should be perfectly fine within that time span. If you need further clarification ask at the time you donate blood, they always nurture you with strong syruppy squash and biscuits to carry on your sugar levels anyway.
