Wearing Contacts During Surgery?
is it a big deal if i wear my contacts during my breast augmentation surgery? the surgery should merely take one hour, what mar could it cause? i wear my contacts 24/7, when I sleep, when i swim, when I shower. I NEVER give somebody a lift them off. Whats the big settlement. Also, I dont own a pair of goggles to wear to the surgery and its going to be a big pain to purloin them out and put them back within after surgery when I'm in PAIN! should I even bring this up next to my surgeon. He's not doing eye surgery so I dont know why I should even mention it. What if I Do mention it and I refuse to clutch them off? I dont want to stir up from anesthesia and not be able to see anything and FREAK OUT! Please confer me some knowledgeable counsel!
Answers: Take them out for surgery. Your eyes will get unbelievably dry from the anesthesia and you may not be able to take them out after wards. They will also enlighten you you need to lift them out. It certainly isn't worth ruining your eyes over!
I can't see in need my contacts in, so I wore them during surgery and didn't narrate the nurses. No harm, no foul... and I be able to transport them out later as common.
