Are in that usually desperate germs on your metal key?
Answers: You can pretty much assume at hand are germs on everything. That includes bacteria and fungus. Most virus cannot survive outside their host organisms for very long, but some can for a few hours. Most of the germs that are adjectives over everything (and in the air) are not desperate germs (pathogens).
Since there is zilch on your keys for germs to grow on, they wouldn't exactly be thriving in that. Bacteria and fungi need moisture to grow. The actual question is where on earth your keys enjoy been. Did you drop them within the sewer? Did you inadvertently leave them contained by your pocket through a laundry cycle? Have you been sick lately or have someone who has be sick handled them?
The difference between the germs on your key and the germs on your hands is this: Bacteria inevitability moisture, and some of them are capable of forming spores that can survive contained by dry places, like your key. The spores can't grow unless the are exposed to the proper conditions. Since there is moisture on your hand, bacteria can grow nearby and need not form spores.
If you are a germophobe, rest assured that you can capture any pathogens off a smooth surface similar to metal with soap and wet. And if you are a germophobe, your concern should not be with things that you own and that other those don't handle. If you are going to take into custody a disease from handling something, it is most likely going to be surrounded by a public place.
I am not a germophobe, but I used to catch a cold or flu every time I traveled. So I started wash my hands after I handle things like paw rails and door handle in airports, and I quit getting sick.
All items get some form of germs, remember that germ are also airborne.
I'm not sure why you are asking this but I'm afraid whatever you do you are below attack from germs in every form and from every direction.
All though please remember that not adjectives germs are bad.
