Are you allowed to see a doctor if your below 18?(australia.nsw)?

do you also need your medicare card beside you?

Answers:    yes you can see a doctor alone at any age! Don't forget that there is doctor-patient confidentiality (doc can't put in the picture your parents/any else without your okay)
If you are over 16 you can achieve your own medicare card.
If you don't have your medicare card beside you the receptionist can call the medicare hotline and capture the number from them. BUT lots of doctors don't bulk-bill (they don't charge to medicare anymore) - so check before you turn or you could get stuck beside a bill!
have to be 16 and over to see a doc privately. Yes you obligation your medicare card, or your number. If it's your family doc, later the receptionist should know you, and will trust that you have your number. If you turn somewhere they don't know you, you need your card.
