If a smoker who smokes approx. 10 cigarettes a daylight, wishes to quit, would it be toxic to curtly stop smokin

Would going from 10 to 0 cigarettes a day be doomed to failure for you? Should you, instead, slowly slack off?

Answers:    I have the exact same habit - 10 cig/day.

11 months ago I quit, cold turkey.

I tried the other channel you mentioned - I called it weaning myself - and I promise you it will never work. Some days I would be down to 2 or 3 and expect I had it lick - then 10 or 11 the subsequent day.

Completely stopping is the individual way. I tried for various years to quit and finally quit cold turkey while guided by 2 thoughts:
1) This craving is temporary and simply lasts 5 to 10 minutes. Just procure through this one craving.
2) I cannot even smoke 1 - or I will be hooked again.

I got rid of my subtle cough inwardly a couple weeks. I never lose my breath any more (like going up stairs). And I've freed up about 1 hour a light of day. My clothes and breath don't stink. My kids are proud of me.

Good Luck and do not stop trying to stop!
