Can I draw from anesthesia contained by the pre-op room?
Answers: Funny you should ask . . . .
Look at the answer to your other question almost thyroglossal duct cysts. I answered that before I saw this one - honest!
Anyway, don't verbs about it - adjectives will be all right. We're not desperate people, I promise.
As far as what go on before, like mad depends on the anesthesiologist that is taking assistance of you. There is not a single "right way" to do things. If you ask 30 different anesthesiologists, you'll probably get 30 different answers give or take a few techniques, drugs to use, etc. BUT, for the most chunk, they should all be pretty close to one and the same thing.
You say-so you are "inhaling anesthesia", but usually an inhalational induction is done for small kids that would be difficult to start an IV in. Older kids (7 - 8) and adults can gain an IV (really not that bad) that can be used for administering drugs and fluids - that's the safer route to go if it can be done. Once the IV's contained by, usually some meds are given to relax you - you really won't care after that, and plausible won't remember anything from that point on. After your surgery, your parents will let you know how much you giggle and what foolishness you spouted with slurred speech after you get your pre-med.
First and foremost - if you have a cross-question about anything - ASK. Don't be shy, speak up.
Don't verbs about a piece - the anticipation is always much worse than the actual event. After adjectives is said and done, you'll realize it wasn't all as unpromising as you thought it would be, but still not something you'd want to do every day.
