I am 13 years old and I am going through duplicate thing right immediately. I have be having problems at academy with some relations verbally bullying me and I stayed home from university on Thursday (half day) and all daytime Friday because I didn't want to be bullied and over that time, I became severely depressed. I was sort of sick anyway. I too want to correct, and I do not want to spend money on a psychiatrst either. I want to be happier.....I used to be so delighted and outgoing and now, I don't know where on earth my life is going. I don't know who I am anymore. I merely want to cry all the time and I want to be thankful just similar to before. I don't know who this entity is...I don't like this party. This person is so distrustful and doesn't have a great outlook on enthusiasm. I'm too self concious as well and I am tired of it. I meditate most depressed people only want to be happy again and to be fresh again. I am reading a book called Anxiety, Phobias, and Panic by Peurifoy to be precise helping me understand and fighting my nervous anxiety.
It also covers depression contained by some detail but you may want another book for that if necessary... these books can really back you, despite being dismissed. I am training to be a nurse, and would not use them if they be useless and had no argument in genuineness.
Another option is medication, you don't give the impression of being interested in counselling. Your relatives doctor should be able to hand over you medication if you want that. My personal experiences of anti-depressants is not very positive, but he can prescribe anxiolytics - these will quiet down the anxiety for a short term length while you deal near it. Getting rid of it for a small time with something approaching valium is often terribly effective at getting your body out of sync of generate anxiety, and boosting your confidence.
These problems are good to nip contained by the bud. If you're a teenager it could in good health be your age, and your hormones mixing you up. Either way, try the first book and you never know.
Apart from those things, here is nothing else you can do but live beside it, especially if you cant/wont see a psychiatrist.
You don't need to see a shrink or purloin "happy pills" to hold a better outlook on life. But 'It's going to bear time to change from individual negative to individual more positive. You have to retrain your thoughts, and voice no to those bad thoughts that come contained by your head and not to present in to an self loathing attitude.
It comes down to will power and disciplining yourself. Don't compare yourself to others and newly learn to be bullish with who you are and maintain breaking the negative cycle by truism and thinking more positive and good thoughts.
The more you do it the better you will consistency inside.
Take time out to relax and meditate too if that helps relieve anxiety and stress. Read poetry and other encouraging stuff and try shifting your diet try adding more foods beside serotonin which is a natural mood enhancer into your diet along near vitamins.
Yes its very unlikely that you do have need of a shrink I mean family are way to in haste to diagnose depression nowadays. There is a full-size difference in depression and opinion down. When you are suffering from depression you really do not get gaiety out of anything.
There are quite a few things you can do that will increase your mood. Exercises self the first an it releases endorphins into your brain and makes you cheery. It also just make you feel better something like your self in standard which might help.
Also why don't you try and find something your savour, weather it is a hobbie your take up or even a profession or just somethings you can look forward to doing this will impart you something to be focused on are bring you more joy.
Your diet can also enjoy a big effect on your mood if you are eating mainly unhealthily then it can in actuality bring your mood down. Try to eat your 5 a sunshine and make sure you are fully hydrated. And if you want a little pic me up I other think chocolate is great for that lol.
Lastly doing a bit something for your self now and again, something you delight in and say to your self this is my me time for today. Have approaching a long bubble bath beside your fave bar of chocolate or book your self something at the salon only just something that you are really going to enjoy.
