I've have chronic diareah and the occasional loose stool for a year. 27 within commonly suitable condition. Help?

I went to the hospital after the first 3 weeks. They took sample but came up next to nothing. At the time I be probably 3/4 months into a weekly routine "drinking schedule" which i have pretty much maintain. My diareah is not usually painful, i don't own cramping, but it is daily more or less 4-8 times a day. I drink profusely of water. i don't drink abundantly of soda or sugary drinks. I know my morning coffee is no help to the situation as nearly 30 minutes after drinking my coffee I am visiting the toilet moderately often. It is especially fruitless the day after drinking alcohol. Aw, I am terrifically embarrassed to be in motion back to the hospital, but i will if near is a major concern..

Answers:    Okay, I'll try a different answer.

I am giving you a association to a medical book that discusses the causes of diarrhea.

If you haven't considered lactose intolerance, please consider it. It is pretty adjectives.

I managed to confer myself chronic diarrhea twice in my younger days. Once it be from taking antacids that had deeply of magnesium in them. Once I be chewing piece after piece of sugarless gum when I was trying to quit smoking. The "sugar alcohols" they use within those gums are not absorbed within your gut, and cause your gut to store up water. In both of these cases the diarrhea did not raison d`¨ētre cramps.

There is one rare condition that cause chronic diarrhea that is dying out enough that they don't usually trial for it. It is called Giardiasis, and is cause by a nasty bug call Giardia lamblia that takes up residence within your liver. Wild animals such as deer, elk, and beaver carry it, and humans take it from drinking water from streams or lake where these animals live. If you hold had any exposure similar to that, ask your doctor to test you for Giardia.

I can't describe from your question if you are an alcohol abuser or a social drinker. If you are an abuser, you might look into what you are drinking. Long-term alcohol misuse can cause symptoms surrounded by many different systems of your body.

I hope this help.

ADDITION: (after I saw your addition) Maalox is one of those antacids with magnesium contained by it. The liquid, not the tablets. Tums does not enjoy magnesium.

You say you are lactose intolerant. Do you know that aged cheeses own almost no lactose in them? Cheeses similar to Swiss and cheddar that have be aged a long time. see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactose_int... . I'm a lactose-intolerant cheese lover. If you want cheese back within your diet, look for premium brands that actually vote they have be aged for a year or whatever.
