I quit smoking this previous Saturday and can't sleep?

I quit smoking this past Saturday. I get the impression no need for a cigarette. I’m starting to be aware of more energized and find myself feeling better surrounded by the mornings. (Not Coughing, not stuffed up).

The only side-effect I’m reaction at this point is: I CAN’T SLEEP. If I’m lucky I get 4 hours of sleep when going to bed at 10:00 and wake up at 6:00.

I wake up several times an hour. Many times hot and sweating.
What can I do to give a hand this?

Please Help!

Answers:    It's your body craving for nicotine that is wake you up. Over time your sleep will improve. Don't pilfer any drugs to make you sleep as you will become dependent on them which is worse than the cigarettes.

Okay that sucks. But good for you on quitting smoking. See your doctor. Maybe he can prescribe a provisional sleep aid until your body straightens itself out. Or maybe near is something else going on unrelated to your quitting smoking and by coincidence you just transpire to be experiencing it now.
