I am a 16yr old pubescent from Aust. For the past ten weeks, I enjoy been getting mucus contained by my throat, like phglem. I go to my GP and she said I had Post-Nasal Drip lying on a cold. She prescribed some antibiotics which I took and it went away for a week after I finished them. Over times gone by two weeks though, it has come final except this time I cannot cough any of it out - like it is stuck within my throat (last time I could cough it out). I should add that I hold trying to cough it up but nothing is coming out - even though I can consistency it. The other day I gaged and dry retched nearly 1Leatre of clear liquid (maybe not related?) It feel like it is surrounded by my back throat towards the vertebrae of my nose. I seize occasional ear ringing.

I know not all of you are doctors and a GP's judgment would be best with consultation but does anyone surmise that it could have something to do beside my adnoids or tonsils? So I could see an ENT instead of a GP?

Answers:    If the fluid is clear and you don't have frenzy, there is no want to take antibiotics. You should enjoy some expectorant and bromhexine syrups to bring the phlegm out. Inhale some steam(water with/without eucalyptus or thyme solution) and take some antihistamine tablets. Avoid spicy foods and polluted nouns.You may email me for further advice and follow up.
