Chronic mane lost at 20! What is wrong?!?

My friend who just turned 20 only just suddenly suffered from very serious chronic coat lost. She became literally shiny on top on the top of her head inwardly 2 days and her medical test results claims that she's going through hormonal inequality. Thus the doc prescribed her steroids and some injections on her head every 2 weeks! He told her there's zilch to worry roughly speaking and and that she can go on next to her college and daily deeds. But i'm terrified for her form, is it really that 'simple'? Could she be poisoned or exposed to some unknown harm?

Answers:    Tell your friend to RUN to a dermatologist. This sounds more close to alopecia and not a hormonal issue. If it were a hormonal issue, it wouldn't own been sudden but over time. With alopecia you can own a full head of spine on Monday and by Friday have complete loss. You can also hold regrowth. (I have personal experience next to this)

Please tell your friend to see a dermatologist. Getting the steroid shots or other topical steroids will lone keep the hackle in while she is getting the injections. Stop the injections, the quill falls out. There are long-term issues with steriod use.
Is she have other symptoms? She might want to look into cushings disease as well. Could terribly well a moment ago be hormones though...certain birth control pills (hormones) will wreak me to lose more hair than others.
