Hand sanitizer vs plain alcohol?

is washing your hand with a 70% solution of rubbing alcohol any different, effectually, than using a commercial paw sanitizer like purell (the busy ingredient of which is a 70% solution of alcohol)? i hate the perfume in the latter, but i'd resembling clean hand. links to scientific studies would be nice.

Answers:    I don't chew over it would clean the hand differently, but the hand sanitizer have some emollients in it so it doesn't dry the skin so impossible. Plus, the gel probably stays in place better--if you use rubbing alcohol it's a short time ago gonna run all over and may not stay where on earth you want it to for as long, which may hinder it working as okay. Also, not all the appendage sanitizers smell the same.
