Caffeine since a blood theory test for cholesterol?

i just found out my goof of a partner have been have coffee (usually just a cup) when he's supposed to be fast for a blood test to check his cholesterol level. will the caffeine skew the results of the test?

Answers:    Caffeine/coffee won't really put on a pedestal lipids or affect the lipid profile prior to the test. We are primarily concerned near food because it can obviously impact lipids and tryglycerides directly in the past a lipid panel.
shouldn't do, but mention it just within case.
