I know it's the decree but why ? Maybe if i knew why, consequently maybe i wouldn't want to drink it. ?

Answers: Because alcohol can be impressively dangerous surrounded by the hands of those who are too youthful to understand and be prepared for its effects.
They articulate people 18yrs and elder are more responsible, and they want people to drink responsibly. So to be precise why they have these law.
If kids could drink legally until that time they were skilled about adjectives the dangers of alcohol, they could seriously spoil themselves or even others.
In my state it's 21 or over and I'm well over that age. ;-) But I've normally wondered why our soldiers can go out and die for our country at 18, but even so they can't drink alcohol. Just an idea. I know they say aloud that at 18 or 21 you aren't "responsible", but at 18 you can carry a gun a kill in cold blood for our country? That's crazy!
