I have be taking Coumadin for about a month in a minute as a result of having blood clots contained by my lungs. For the last few days I own had heart burn that won't step away. My Dr gave me Prevacid and said it should give support to. I have never have heart burn issues before. I'm wondering if anyone else taking Coumadin have had issues beside it?

Answers:    I don't think its the coumadin. Maybe nearby is inflammation around your lungs due to the injury caused by the blood clots and that inflammation is pressing on your stomach or esophagus and cause the heart burn?

I was already on a heart burn tablets when I had to start taking coumadin when I have blood clots in my lungs concluding year.
