Yes those ARE stretchmarks. They start when the skin stretches beyond its natural dimensions due to growth in size, physical expansion due to puberty or fat/muscle gain. Basically, anything that cause you to stretch.
Now, not everyone is like this. It adjectives depends on genetics. Some hold it worse than others. Others seem never to draw from it at all.
You can use cocoa butter or this grease I found on amoils.com called restore to health stretchmarks. It really works because I used it for my own stretchmarks and they basically faded away.

yes they are stretch results. many folks who although are not even obese tend to have them to some scope. it's normal. if it bothers you next apply cocoa butter lotion.
