My hand catch swollen at random, sustain!?

I have this problem where on earth, if I hold on to something cold for a period of time, such as a can of soda or a klondike slab, my fingers swell. I went to the doctor's, they run tests and everything, but they don't give the impression of being to know what the problem is. Can anyone help me or does anyone own this problem too?
