Your hospital room is verbs. Right?

I work for a pretty large hospital and they enjoy just passed a policy for when the ER reach a certain capcity they hold to start moving patients up to the nursing floors to rooms wether they are clean room or dirty room. I know how it will lend a hand decrease the waiting time contained by the ER but then I see theis as a infectious peril especially when the patient immune system is not functioning at it's best it seem like we are putting them contained by a more exposed enviroment for infection. The ER reaches this capcity at lowest once a week mostly thur-sat...I find this disturbing...Would it disturb you as a patient to find out that you are paying for a dirty room?

Answers:    It would depend on how they are defining a verbs room. If they simply mean one that nursing have changed the sheets on the bed, but housekeeping hasn't made it in to mop and wipe down the surfaces, after no- it wouldn't bother me. An ER full of patients is a veritable germ soup. Presumably your rooms are being cleaned at most minuscule once a day, and the long-suffering who left be healthy satisfactory to dicharge. So there would be far not as much of germs floating around to be caught by the new long-suffering. Put it this way, if you are nearby waiting to pass your kidney stone, do you really want to be elbows and antenna next to the guy hack up chunks of who knows what? Or might that not freshly mopped room next to just you and a sleeping roomie look better? As long as the sheets are verbs and the nurses are practicing good nursing aid, who cares if the skylight sill is sparkling clean? I don't believe we are actually discussion dirty as in you achieve the bed as soon as the dead guy get shifted off to the morgue here. If it really concerns you, speech to the infection control folks. They had to sign stale on the idea, and no hospital wishes to risk a mass outbreak. Look a little closer until that time you start people up on this sort of article. Plus the sooner you can sort out the ER and cut the wait, the in good health everybody stays.
the easiest place to catch a respiratory infection is contained by a hospital.
