Quitting Drinking Problem?
I've managed to cut my drinking down to 3-4 days a week. (Yes, I know I still enjoy a ways to go.) But on the days I don't drink I tend to get through almost excessively. Why? Is it some compulsive need to compress that sense of emptyness? Or some addiction to putting hand to mouth, whether it be next to a bottle of whiskey or a sandwhich?
Answers: Since you aren't drinking, your body has to find a up to date addiction to take its place. My mom is an alchoholic and when she tries not to drink, she smokes greatly more than usual. Sometimes she tries to quit both and even though it doesn't work, she does puzzles, sewing, etc to keep her mind stale things. You can try doing something like that instead.
