Answers: Interventions can be done by almost everyone. There are certain programs which provide intervention services for relatives who are addicted to drugs or alcohol. Special counselors may help your friend to rest faster. You can intervene with your friend's addiction if you want and I surmise it will be a successful intervention because I think he can get better faster if he is surrounded by the people that he know he can trust.
