What portion of the ear do you use to hear high-frequency noise?

for my science project...

thanks :)

Answers:    The portion of you ear that allows you to hear would be the condition of your eardrum mainly, although in attendance are other parts of the ear that are responsible for hearing, the eardrum is what initially differentiates (can tell) what the frequency is. The frequency is the pitch. The faster a flounder the higher the frequency, the better the pitch. Older eardrums cant vibrate in a hurry enough so some frequencies cant even be hear.
