If drugs resembling Ambien aren't narcotic or addictive, why do we hold to carry a prescription?
Answers: Its a nice marketing ploy to tell you AMBIEN isnt addictive or a narcotic...bid any pharmacy, its a controlled substance and causes dependence along next to all of the soporific hypnotic medicines (ambien, restoril, lunesta). You could ask the doctor to try another medication that doesnt have AS MUCH problems next to dependency or addcitve traits (remeron, trazadone) or look into books regarding sleep hygiene that are not pills driven--try "no more sleepless nights."
Well, any type of drug can become addictive if it help relieve something within you. These types of drugs are extraordinarily strong and cannot be handled short prescription. Prescriptions set the amount you should take, when you should nick it, and how long you should take it for, non prescriptions are usually only just things that people rob whenever they feel "sick" or anything the problem may be.
Hope that helps!
