Answers: the appendix is a medical mystery. it doesn't really have a function surrounded by the body it. it's location makes relatives prone to appendicitis. men are more prone than women for some reason. it's a tiny sac that sits close to the intestinal wall. sometimes irritation for motility or constipation can head to inflammation of the sack of the appendix. after a period of time that sack can emasculate and if not caught on the birth of symptoms- abd pain or frenzy for ex. the appendix can rupture. this can be serious if not treated near surgery and antibiotics. jumping after drinking does not cause this. hope this help.
