Cough that get worse beside smoke...?
Answers: i infer you have mild asthma - classic symptoms are cough, wheeze, shortness of breath worse at hours of darkness and with smoke or other irritants
Your mother is wrong. I have a chronic cough since the fifth grade. No doctor could integer it out. Finally my Mom took all the stuffed animals out of my bedroom. That help for a while.
When I was 21 it come back. I should enjoy worried about it, but I didn't . I be too busy dancing and have fun. At age 46 I started getting pneumonia over and over. I'd take antibiotics, it would clear it up, but afterwards I'd get pneumonia again. At age 48 I be diagnosed with "pulmonary fibrosis," below "Interstitual Lung Disease." The doctor nonchalantly told me I had to live on oxygen the rest of my existence. If I didn't , my memory would be the first to go, after my kidneys, and eventually I would need a lung-heart transplant (which I'd never do.)
I'm in a minute 53, living on oxygen because I don't have ample oxygen in my blood. I know 53 sounds matured to you, but your Mom knows how hasty time goes by. Have her read this. Get to a pulmonary (lung) doctor. First find tested for any allergies. (There's an allergist in near the lung doctors.) Try to figure out the problem NOW, so you won't expire up like me.
Have your Mom read this. E-mail me if you enjoy any problems. In the meantime, stay away from smoke, and there are pills for your nightly cough. This is nought to mess around with. Doesn't your Mom hear you coughing at dark? Parents try their best. Your Mom loves you. Maybe reading this, will at least go and get you to your regular doctor for starters. Take a copy of this with you if you want. I yearning you the best of luck. I wouldn't wish this on my worst antagonist. Mom!! I don't believe your daughter is a hypochondriac. At least consent to a doctor check her out. Kiddo, if you cough up any phlegm, spit it in a verbs glass so it can be analyzed. I know that sounds gross, but it's impressive. Good luck, Mom and Daughter. Sincerely, Lynn :) P.S. Do you ever wheeze? If so, I think you may enjoy asthma, which is no big deal. You'd only need to use an inhaler a couple times a daylight. :)
Smoking increases the volume of mucus produced in the lungs, and increases its viscosity. Smoking also decrease the activity of the ciliated cell. The pulmonary system must remove increased quantities of markedly thickened mucus containing entrapped carcinogens, but this is simply hopeless in the obverse of a clinically impaired muco-ciliary defense system. The result is chronic bronchitis. While some smokers own a dry, hacking cough, others report a productive cough. The productive smoker's cough is fundamental to supplement the impaired cilia, and must not be suppressed. This is the plea that self-treatment of cough by smokers must be prohibited.
