Piercings and surgery?
i'm have my tonsils taken out soon. i have my hips pierced near these little dermal anchors that can only be taken out by a piercer because you enjoy to cut the skin and stuff. my parents don't know i have these piercings. would it be really bad if i disappeared just those 2 piercings contained by?
i know there's risk of electrical problems and stuff, but what about nation with close to, metal plates in their arms? aren't they at freshly as much risk? help!
Answers: You should communicate to the surgeon. Doctors are bound by the confidentiality laws and cannot disclose information to your parents that you request be kept from them. Call the organization to ask the question or ask to speak near the surgeon in private in need your parents present. You should disclose anything like that to the surgeon prior to going below anesthesia.
i had surgery and they made me filch all mine out. ( i be none to happy since heaps couldn't be put back contained by after surgery ) my friend had like surgery they didn't even mention piercings to her and she was fine. i guess it is better to be locked then sorry and tell to the surgeon about the piercings because near is a risk of burns and the last entry you want is metal piercings burning into your skin.
