I checked my blood pressure and it said 136 over 36 and said it be prehypertension?
Answers: I focus you need to retake your blood pressure. If this be a true reading prehypertension is the least of your concerns. Your pulse pressure alone is 100. That is categorically not good. BTW, your pulse pressure is the difference between your systolic(top) number and your diastolic(bottom) number. It should be around 40 points apart. If your true reading be 136/36 I would think you'd grain very tired, dizzy, slow-moving, etc. My advice is once again bring a few more readings and rather from a different machine. If your bp continues to show atypical readings please see your doctor asap. It is possible for this reading to be accurate but you would not be considered prehypertensive. It may be indicative of blood loss internally. Just hold a professional take it for you and explain to them the reading that you have. Good luck
I'd get that number verified by your doctor, your diastolic (bottom number) is unusually low if to be precise a true reading.
