Dramamine is a drug called dimenhydrinate. Dimenhydrinate is basicly the drug diphenhydramine (sleeping pills) but beside added salts that will hold on to you more alert and awake. Even when these salts do their errand you might find that you'll still be a bit tired. It's nothing a cup of coffee can't bring care of.
