Answers:    They say that 2nd mitt smoke is worse. The smoker is inhaling their smoke behind a filter and when they blow it out, it is unfiltered crap that everyone else breathes contained by. However the smoker is inhaling heated chemicals due to the flame on the cigarette which is extremely detrimental. 2nd hand smoke is worse near American brand cigs since there are over 100 different chemicals. So it is the chemicals that the smoker blows put money on out which cause closely of damage to the non-smoker breathing it within. Foreign cigs are usually 100% tobacco which is less wounding to the others breathing it in.

There are reason many states are endorsement smoking bans indoors. It is not basically the hippies and Rob Rheiner, but scientific studies are showing the effects as ably.
