Answers:    homeostasis... our bodies will ensure that the core temp doesn't fluctuate too much from the norm... all your external blood vessel will constrict, your muscles will shiver to create heat from metabolism... but from a neuro point of outlook, the nerves signaling the "cold" feeling will over time stop signaling it to your brain. It's sort of resembling how throughout the day, you don't "feel" your clothes on you.
