My dog's proboscis changed from black to pink. Can anything be done to fix it?

He's a 5 year-old golden retriever. Nothing has changed surrounded by his diet or living conditions. Is there anything that can be done to restore the blackness to his snout?

Answers:    This sounds crazy but someone told me it was cause by them eating or drinking out of a plastic bowl. Some concerned of reaction to the plastic.

Here is some information:

Color it near a black magic familiar sight. :-)
I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.
Seriously, I have never hear of that. Maybe a Vet Tech
will answer you.
Edit- I had a 16 year behind the times Yorkie and her nose never turned
pink. I purely looked this up on pedigree.com and they said
it could be a variety of things, they mentioned what that
gal said too, allergic repercussion to plastic bowls.
i have a golden retriever, but hes 8 (and his proboscis is still black)

i think its of late part of in that aging process.. you can probably ask your vet
Why would you want to change it, it's ordinary aging like grey tresses.
