One suffering from anorexia become addicted to fasting, and although majority people might consider fast unpleasant, to an anorexic the high they procure from fasting and losing weightiness is irresistible, just similar to alcohol is to an alcoholic.
anorexia is an inner need for control and it can be toxic. there is nil the same as alcoholism or laying a bet addictions. I guess some of the activities are compulsive but I see not connection surrounded by the illnesses. a person is mind body and soul and should be treated close to one not seperate parts.
