Answers:    Well, the reason *I* intuitively didn't like wearing my goggles was because I wasn't sure they suited me, and, if you're self-concious, you don't want to -change- what everyone is used to. The first time I wore specs, it felt close to everyone was staring and I despised it.
Also, I was individual a child in primary conservatory when I found out I needed them and with adjectives the stupid comments like "speccy four eyes" also put me stale.
