Is it true?
Some ppl own told me that Chantix is the cause of EXTREME anger problems.. does anyone know if this is true?!
Answers: I have this same problem when I was taking the medication. I took it, as prescribed, and nearly 1 week after I went to two pills a morning, I started having huge anger issues. To the point where on earth I was so angry at one angry because I didn't know why I was angry, it be making me angry! A very close friend of mine and I be taking, and out of the blue, she said I had be so angry lately, and she thought it was that medication. I HAVE TO SAY AT THIS POINT...it be before adjectives this talk of the drug have these type of side effects even came out. I be shocked to see reports of it lately. Anyway, when she and I pinpointed when my anger problems started, the only item that had changed at that time, be I upped my dose of Chantix. I stopped taking it that night - it be Sunday. By Tuesday, I had fall into such a deep depression, I almost took a bottle of sleeping pills...but stopped basically before because the thought of my son and daughter coming home from academy to find me dead flashed until that time my eyes. It was later, I ran to the hospital for comfort.
Now, I need to influence that I have done some research since later, and have found this. First of adjectives, I have since be diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, which I own had pretty much adjectives my life, but have gone undiagnosed and had be chalked up to 'the blues.' (I was pretty polite at numbing myself to cover things up). What I have found is that those are questioning in a minute whether Chantix can exacerbate mental illness. In my satchel, I will go down forever adage that, yes, it can. It was the most horrible experience surrounded by my life. For others, it may never effect them. Again, everyone is different.
My suggestion? Talk to your doctor. Particularly if you ever be diagnosed with clinical depression, bipolar disorder, szchizophrenia, or other mental infection.
Okay, sorry to have ramble, but this is so close to my heart. I also need to enunciate that these are MY opinions, and I formed them from my own experience, process of closure and research I've done on the web.
Oh, and I'm smoking again! LOL. Oh okay...at least I'm not angry anymore!

I style of doubt they would release a pill that would make ancestors go indisputable mad...

I've never hear of this side effect. My guess is that this is simply caused by you no longer smoking, a bit than the medication. If this does not improve surrounded by another week or so, go see your doctor again. There is another medication call Wellbutrin which may help beside your cravings and your mood (since it is also an anti-depressant).
