Should I catch it removed?

Since I got an IUD I carry my period 2-3 times a month...and the cramps are desperate, where I never have cramps before. Tried to impart it time, but I've had it over 6 months. Should I take it removed?

Answers:    I think you should address your problem beside your doctor. Different people counter differently to IUD's. The doctor is the best person to communicate to about your problem. Good luck.....
Have you talk to your doctor?

Also...there are two types of IUD's one is copper and the other is one next to hormones in it. Which compassionate do you have? Most plausible, the kind beside hormones...maybe you should try and switch to the copper one. For some sense, the copper prevents pregnancy without hormones. I reflect on the hormones in the IUD are messing up your body and your cycle. Try the other, or try a smaller quantity invasive type of birth control. The pill, the shot...?
I think cramps are conventional with that, perchance give your body some more time to take use to it. If not then you could other remove it and try something else.
