In the mid 1980's the insurance companies started refusing to reward for people going into the hospital unless they be sick enough to own an IV.
The result was, merely about everyone who go into a hospital for non-mental reasons, get an IV. That is a straight shot avenue to infections.
But infections make for longer hospital stays, its similar to Microsoft, their errors make them money.
Well I own become a carrier for VRE from a hospital. I also hold almost died because they exposed me to something I was allergic to. Hospitals are not protected at all. Their requests to be some type of record taken for mistakes that ensue.
