i know of other people who enjoy had their ganglion cyst surgically removed and they have to wear a bulky dressing but a little after that they have to wear a cast?

Answers:    Removal of ganglion cysts do not usually require a cast. You will with the sole purpose need a heating pad until it heals. I have one on the inside of my knee that be 3 inches long, 2 inches wide and 3/4 inches low. Day surgery and I only took medication for 2 days.
Surgeons pocket x-rays to determine whether or not the cyst is attached to a tendon so that might be a factor within someone needing a issue. Ask your doctor if you still have question. Surgery makes most race a little timid.
