Why does human snoring hold on to me awake, but doggie snoring puts me to sleep?

Is it because I've had 9 years next to said canine? Is it simply because I take solace surrounded by doggie breath?

One thing is for sure; she snores louder and longer than any human ever could. So nouns is definitely not a factor.
