Any one have experience on getting your medical disability, and how easier said than done is it to get. My husband have very poor circulation surrounded by one of his lower legs due to traumatic injury many years ago, to the point he very soon gets ominous open sores and swelling. I judge he could go on total disability as he have been contained by construction for over 30 years and not at an age for a career progress. This is not something that will ever go away as it get worse evey year and my husband fears amputation.

Answers:    It depends on the state...for fed. disability...it is time consuming and complicated...start asap...as it will be a long time before you see any money.

5 states certainly have clothed disability programs, if yours does call them..ask if you should do the feed. first if the disability is permanent.

my 3 yr older son has psychological palsy and it took over a yr to get him his benefits you will necessitate any medical records that he have starting from the time he got hurt up to presently,and if your dr could write a statement saying that he can no longer work that would give support to alot.then they will probably transport him to a dr or two.good luck
