Are you ever competent to return unused drug to the pharmacy for a reimbursement?
My insurance plan has a mandatory mail-order prescription plan. I have to order a 3 month supply of birth control pills, however I with the sole purpose used 1 packet before I have to stop because of the side effects. I have 2 unused, hermetically sealed pill packets not here. It seems a shame for them to run to waste and for me to flush 50 bucks down the drain, too. Does anyone own any other suggestions? or know of charities that would accept the pills as a donation?
Answers: No licensed pharmacy is properly permitted to accept returns. Besides, the incredibly greedy pharmaceutical companies would never sanction refund anyones money.
You might try calling some of the free clinics in your neighborhood. It is a shame to flush $50.00 down the toilet.
Hope you attain a better answer,
than mine,
Wotan
Nope, sorry gotta flush 'em. You can not return them and no charity is going to accept them. BTW, it would be criminal to give them to a charity because by statute, the only soul that can take the pills prescribed to you, is you. Sorry.
