Why do folks speak "bless you" why someone sneezes?
Answers: It was a superstition.. it be once taught that if you sneezed your spirit or soul will fly away next to the sneeze.. saying bless you would keep hold of the soul from escaping
I believe that originated by family thinking that the soul was escaping when you sneezed. Offering them a blessing forced it pay for in. Not 100% on this, but I remember from somewhere.
Also could be that it stops your heart, and nation are blessing you to make sure it starts again?
