Traumatic pelt loss?

Recently a freind of mine got a key leg fracture during a mountain climbing trip(he'll need a wheelchair for at least possible 5 months). Since then, his pelt has mostly fall out.

I heard roughly a condition after major injuries where on earth the body takes away nutrients the down follicals are using to help alleviate itself, what is the name for this?

Answers:    Tell your friend to catch the thyroid function checked. After any trauma, it can cause this. I have to have a surgery and inside a week, my hair be falling out and breaking off.

I am immediately hypothyroid and have to pilfer medication for the rest of my life. No big treaty, but if your friend has developed a thyroid condition and let it go too long, it can do some pretty bleak damage to the body.

It is also possible that the body is using the nutrients that as a rule go to the hackle, skin and nails to make well the body, but that is not a moral sign either. It could penny-pinching your friend was somewhat wanting those nutrients before the trauma.

Tell your friend to stop by http://thyroid.in the region of.com/od/hypothyroidi... and check for other signs or symptoms.
