10 minute presenation + a start of public speaking HELP! / any meds to cool me down?
a summative for science, and im with a partener which is a time saver, but still I need some tranquil down.
Somethings that happen to me in these types of situations:
-sweat
-red obverse
-shaky hands
-shaky voice
-feel like I cant chitchat because if i do i'll shake and embarrass myself
so i tried to calm myself down before (breathe ect) doesnt comfort much. I styll go red because of all the citizens looking at me.
is there anything you can tell me to give support to me with this?
are there any meds I can buy that are SAFE and dont necessitate the doctors permission? Please help

im going away for the next 5 days so i enjoy 2 days in preperation (sunday, monday)
Answers: I can absolutely utter I think I know how you feel. I go and get the same symptoms and they feel IMPOSSIBLE to shake. the ONLY entity that has ever helped me for a while is to practice my presentation OVER AND OVER. i'm actually just finishing up a public speaking class for college that i have to take... and i never thought i would make it through. but i can give an account you that the times i went in lacking having practiced the speech out loud contained by the mirror at least five times, i went home from class sentiment embarassed. the days that i practiced, i really practiced a lot. i made myself learn the objects so well that i didnt have to look at my outline at adjectives. (ugh, i know... it takes so much time!) and knowing what you're talking roughly speaking will always make you be aware of more comfortable. so REALLY practice it... and while you do, edit and write all over your outline next to cues to pause, and slow down or speed up, and use bold font to make the prevalent ideas of sentences stand out.
and, from being surrounded by public speaking class, and other classes with a lot of presentations, i can give an account you that a LOT of people's faces go red. and it is really frozen to tell most of the time! i pay attention because mine other go red, so i made myself pay attention and see if it happen to anyone else and i promise you it does! it FEELS really red and really hot, i know... but you dont look as red as you feel.

Pray! asked God to give support to you lessen your nervousness... you have to have a feeling relax as if your talking to your friends... memorize everything you will say, eventually you surface comfortable. Don't drink coffee. practice with your eyes closed make some features of noise that way it sounds similar to others are a round you
it sounds weird give it a try..
Try Advil, Aleve, Excedrin, Tylenol PM, but try Tylenol PM since day of presentation to make sure you won't go down asleep.
L Theanine from health food store...calming while helping you to focus &concentrate.
You can travel to health store & ask about Kava Kava watch out, it can make you feel big.
Just think... all the other nation in the class have to travel thru what you have to go thru. When I've have to give talks, I other hear my voice quivering, mouth dry, knees shaking, hands sweaty.
When I was finished, everyone complemented me & didn't catch sight of all my signs.
Even when I've been surrounded by a group & someone had to speak & was visibly troubled, everyone was respectful because we'd all be thru it at 1 time or another.
Keep practicing your deep breathing: Inhale thru nose, exhale thru mouth, rest. Each for a count of 3. Do for 5 minutes at a time.
